Magnolia's Story

This collection is dedicated to my daughter Lydie’s cat, Magnolia, who helped me understand that felines had their own special needs.

Magnolia is an extra special kitty that is extra finicky, and she inspired me to come up with a formula that catered to the taste preferences of cats. In the process, I started learning all about cats and how their needs differ than dogs - no surprise! After a deep-dive on feline health, I began developing formulas that should provide comprehensive support specific to the needs of cats (and they love the taste!)

How much CBD should I give my pet?

If you've never used CBD with your pet before, we recommend starting with the following:

For Dogs: 2mg of CBD per 10lbs of weight

For Cats: 3mg of CBD per 10lbs of weight

CBD can be given as-needed or as part of a daily wellness routine.

What is your BLEND#4 whole plant extract?

It’s been 10 years since Kat discovered the power of hemp extracts and we're still finding new and exciting ways to improve upon our formulas. BLEND#4 dives into the emerging science of raw hemp, encapsulating the cannabis plant’s composition in a way that is much closer to nature. We've managed to unlock this raw, unprocessed magic by partnering with the most respected extraction team in the industry, KND Labs. Through an innovative combination of extraction methods this latest blend is truly a game-changer, boasting a robust profile of cannabinoids that work synergistically, enhancing each other's benefits.

How do I store this and what's it's shelf-life?

Oils containing animal-derived products (fish oils, green-lipped, mussel, etc.) should be used within 90 days of opening. 

All other formulas can be stored in a cool, dry place up to a year after opening.

We recommend refrigerating our oils only if you're not planning on finishing the bottle within 4-6 months of opening. (And oils with animal-derived ingredients should still be used within 90 days.)

Be sure to shake well before every use! 
Formulas containing coconut oil may need to come to room temperature to mix back together easily. 

Recycling: CBD Oil Bottles: Glass bottle and dropper are recyclable with other clean glass items. Remove and discard plastic tamper seal and labels from bottle. Separate glass dropper from plastic/rubber top (give the dropper a gentle wiggle & tug and it'll come right out.) Discard plastic/rubber dropper cap.

Improved quality of life

I have used Austin and Kat in the past for a dog that had some doggy sundowners syndrome and it worked wonders. Years later when my cat started experiencing limping from arthritis and using recommended treatments like Solensia were not giving the relief I was hoping I decided to come back and try Austin and Kat again. Within the first two weeks I noticed a change of a decrease in her limp and her mobility has greatly overall improved. This product has helped keep my cat comfortable and off heavy medications that would have otherwise left her sleeping throughout the day. We still use the Solensia for general support but this additive as has completely changed her life.

Cretins said it's really stinky

2 cats. Female totally rejects, Male accepts it only with kitty crack (tubes). He's the one who needs it the most. He's anxious, scared, stressed, & won't eat unless he gets relief. My vet recommended this oil for him. I'm glad he accepts it, but wish it wasn't so smelly.

I completely understand the challenge with giving supplements to cats... they can be such picky little ones! It sounds like you're doing an amazing job finding what works for your male kitty with the "kitty crack" tubes.

I'm sorry to hear about his anxiety and stress affecting his appetite. That can be so worrying to watch! I'm glad your vet recommended our oil and that he's accepting it, even if it's only with his favorite treats. For many cats with occasional nervousness, consistent use of the CBD oil can really help support a normal calm disposition over time.
The smell can definitely be strong - this is actually from the beneficial omega fatty acids that help support his overall wellbeing along with the CBD. Some customers have found that storing the oil in the refrigerator can help reduce the aroma a bit.

As for your female kitty who's rejecting it completely, sometimes it takes a bit of patience and creativity. Have you tried mixing just a tiny amount (smaller than the recommended dose) with something irresistible like tuna water or the juice from wet food? Starting with micro-doses can sometimes help them adjust to the taste gradually.

Calming

Our three cats love this CDB oil. First got to soothe an anxious cat, now give it to all three. Helps keeps things calm and their fir and skin are very healthy! Also keep No More Wiggles on hand for the anxious one when we know something might be stressful.
